In-Home Applied Behavioral Services (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis is a form of one-on-one behavioral therapy in which a child works with a behavioral technician under direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Behavioral Therapy occurs in the clients’ home which is their most natural environment. This allows for skills to be taught in an environment in which they occur most and the child feels safe and comfortable.

Parent Training

Through our behavioral intervention (ABA), parent training is completed on a weekly basis with parents. It is important for parents to be aware of the programs in place and challenging behaviors being targeted. Parents are taught the skills required to understand how their child’s treatment works. Parents will learn practical strategies in order to manage behaviors in the home setting when therapy is not taking place. With parent training, parents will gain knowledge in ABA treatment modalities.

Adaptive Skills (AST)

With adaptive skills, individuals are taught independent living skills which teaches them to care for themselves at home, school, work and in the community. By teaching individuals the skills necessary to tend to their own self-care needs, these skills will increase, creating a better quality of life for the client and family. Our Adaptive Skills Program will assist clients with adaptive functioning deficits.
